Kum Meisterwerk Sharpener

Create incredibly sharp and precise pencil points with the KUM Masterpiece. Handmade in Germany, this precision sharpener features a two-step sharpening process. The first hole shaves the wood and exposes the graphite lead core, which is then sharpened to a super-fine point by the second hole. A blue plastic stopper on the end of the sharpener prevents pencils from being over-sharpened. The Meisterwek passes through 8 quality checks during the manufacturing process. Nothing is left to chance.

The Kum Meisterwerk Sharpener is made out of the high-tech material magnesium. Advantages of magnesium: the material is not only lightweight, but also ensures the perfect fit of the blades

Blades are made of finely ground hard carbon steel – with a hardness of more than 62 hrc, the steel used is much harder than high-quality kitchen knives (approx. 55 hrc)

Dynamic Torsion Action® prevents the tip of the pen from breaking, as the blades are under permanent tension
